Tim is the former executive pastor of Sojourn Community Church, a multi-site church in the Louisville, KY area. He has previously served as the executive pastor of Mars Hill Church in Seattle from 2007 to 2010 helping to grow the church from 3 to 12 campuses across 4 states. He spent 25 years in the US Coast Guard and retired as an O-6. Tim is trained in multiple coaching platforms and has coached over 150 pastors in diverse contexts over the last 13 years. He serves as a member of the Sojourn Network Board of Directors and Strategist and is a part time Pastor of Strategic Initiatives at Summit Church. He is the founder and principal of 10 Talents Consulting, his church leadership focused firm. He is also the author of Charting the Course: How to Navigate the Legal Side of a Church Plant. Tim has been married to his wife Patty for 45 years and is the father of two adult children and two grandsons, who love the Lord and are serving the church today.
